Meet your chiropractor

It started with my father

I have always known I wanted to go into the healthcare since a young age, where I was not sure. Eventually I dwindled my choices to dentistry or chiropractic. By this time my whole family had started seeing a chiropractor. After sitting down with my dad he suggested I follow into chiropractic since we had all seen the benefits but was still wondering how it worked.

What makes me different

I am a pretty good listener and will listen to what you have to say. I typically also answer questions as they come up and go over everything.

Outside the office

My husband and I have a 3 year old together and I have 2 stepchildren. With my stepchildren you can find us at many sporting events and with our 3 year old we are at the zoo quite frequently. I was born here in the greater Milwaukee but raised in southwest WI. We visited Milwaukee quite frequently for my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins remained here.

Focus areas

Where I focus

Every doctor at Chiropractic Company is trained to care for the full range of spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. What differs between us is the additional training we’ve done and the patients we’ve spent the most time with.

Desk & office workers

Desk and office workers -suffer from prolong periods in a chair in front of computer that lower back, upper back and neck issues develop.

Post partum

Postpartum- Moms are spending their time holding their infant or breastfeeding. has shifted to more upper back, neck pain since pregnancy.

Active adults

Active adults push themselves and will push off their shoulder, hip or sciatic pain

Technique

How I work

Here is what I use and when.

Then

Diversified

number of affective ways on how to address multiple regions

Also

Gonstead

A detailed analytical approach that identifies one specific segment rather than adjusting a region. Usually paired with x-ray and palpation findings.

Low force

Thompson drop-table

A section of the table drops a short distance as the adjustment is delivered, so less manual force is needed to move the joint.

Low force

Activator / instrument

A small handheld instrument delivers a controlled, low-force impulse to a specific spot. No twisting, no popping sound.

Beyond the spine

Extremity adjusting

Adjusting joints outside the spine — shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and feet. Often what a spine-only approach misses.

Children

Pediatric / low-force

Adjusting scaled to a child, using roughly the pressure you would use to check a ripe tomato. Nothing like an adult adjustment in force or technique.

Seniors

Geriatric / modified

Adjustments adapted for reduced bone density, arthritis and limited range of motion. Lower force, different positioning.

Assessment

Motion palpation

Feeling how each joint moves through its range rather than assessing it at rest. This is how a restricted segment gets found — often not where the pain is.

Assessment

X-ray analysis

On-site imaging when it will change the plan. Used to rule things out as much as to confirm them.

Assessment

Digital foot scan

A pressure scan of both feet, showing how weight distributes and where the arch is collapsing.

Also uses Trigger point therapy, Kinesiology taping, Electrical stimulation, Corrective exercise and Custom orthotics.

Two things worth knowing

You decide what I do

If a patient asks for me not to touch their neck I ask why. I will offer instrument if it is fear of cracking or I will not touch it.

When I’ll send you somewhere else

If I notice anything through the exam that is questionable, I will discuss it when I find it and will refer them out to follow up with their orthopedist or other specialist as needed.

For most people, no. You may hear or feel a pop, which is gas releasing from the joint rather than bones cracking. Some people feel mild soreness afterward, similar to after a workout, usually for a day or less.

Plan for about an hour. That covers the consultation, the exam, and X-rays if they’re needed. At your second visit, Dr. Tulachka goes over the results and your care plan. Follow-up visits are shorter.
