It started with my mother

I had a serious digestion issue when I was 13 years old. Chiropractic changed my life that day. Not instantly, but over a couple of weeks. Later I had a number of sports related injuries that were always improved.

I was a breach baby and back in the day I was delivered as a breach. My mother spent 1 week in the hospital due to complications from that delivery and chiropractic is what finally allowed her legs to stop pooling with blood due to a pelvic issue.

What makes me different

I use the Pro Adjuster for many of my patients along with lighter manual techniques. If a patient is up in age and doesn’t like to be twisted and cracked, I’m your doc.

What an adjustment feels like

I start with the basics and make sure you are comfortable and understand why I am doing what I am doing.

Outside the office

My wife and I enjoy outdoor activities like kayaking and riding motorcycle. I enjoy hunting with my 2 adult kids who live in the Fox Valley area. I also enjoy a good bon fire with friends.

Focus areas

Where I focus

Every doctor at Chiropractic Company is trained to care for the full range of spinal and musculoskeletal conditions. What differs between us is the additional training we’ve done and the patients we’ve spent the most time with.

Seniors (65+)

Especially those who have poor flexibility and have difficulty getting adjusted by hand

Recreational athletes

Weekend warriors who over do it now and then

Weekend warriors who over do it now and then

Desk & office workers

Sitting all day puts more strain on the back than people realize. Helping them with management techniques

Technique

How I work

I treat a lot of people with headaches and active retirees. I enjoy helping people stay active.

Usually first

Pro Adjuster

very specific and low force

Then

Thompson drop-table

it works great for pelvic problems

Also

Diversified

It works for such a large variety of issues

Structural

Gonstead

A detailed analytical approach that identifies one specific segment rather than adjusting a region. Usually paired with x-ray and palpation findings.

Low force

Activator / instrument

A small handheld instrument delivers a controlled, low-force impulse to a specific spot. No twisting, no popping sound.

Beyond the spine

Extremity adjusting

Adjusting joints outside the spine — shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and feet. Often what a spine-only approach misses.

Seniors

Geriatric / modified

Adjustments adapted for reduced bone density, arthritis and limited range of motion. Lower force, different positioning.

Assessment

Motion palpation

Feeling how each joint moves through its range rather than assessing it at rest. This is how a restricted segment gets found — often not where the pain is.

Assessment

X-ray analysis

On-site imaging when it will change the plan. Used to rule things out as much as to confirm them.

Assessment

Movement screening

Watching how you move through a set of positions to find the limitation driving the complaint.

Also uses Gait analysis, Digital foot scan, Trigger point therapy, Electrical stimulation and Ergonomic assessment.

Two things worth knowing

You decide what I do

Let me show you how gentle the Pro Adjuster works. There is no twisting or cracking with this method.

When I’ll send you somewhere else

When a case has radiating pain along with other symptoms I want to get advanced imaging so I can really know what is going on.

For most people, no. You may hear or feel a pop, which is gas releasing from the joint rather than bones cracking. Some people feel mild soreness afterward, similar to after a workout, usually for a day or less.

Plan for about an hour. That covers the consultation, the exam, and X-rays if they’re needed. At your second visit, Dr. Fynaardt goes over the results and your care plan. Follow-up visits are shorter.

Yes. We’re in-network with most insurance companies, including Medicare, and we bill your plan for you. What you pay depends on your plan’s copay, deductible, and coinsurance. Verify your insurance before your visit, or call (262) 679-2060.

No referral is needed. Some insurance plans may require one for full benefits. Our team can check when you verify your insurance.
